Where to find Papaya: stores and prices by market
Papaya flower is easiest to find around Los Angeles, where 63 stores within 50 miles listed it on Weedmaps on Oct 4, 2026, and Las Vegas (13).1 Named Papaya crosses are left out, but the counts include Papaya Kush, which Weedmaps gives as another name for Papaya, and may include a few products of uncertain identity, such as items sold as Trophy Papaya, Pennington Papaya or Spiked Papaya.1,2 Of the 226 counted menu items, 153 (67.7%) carry Weedmaps’ own Papaya strain tag; the other 73 matched on the name alone.1 Only Los Angeles had at least 25 items priced as an eighth; its median eighth was $15.1

Papaya in Germany
In Germany, cannabis is a prescription medicine dispensed by pharmacies. On Oct 3, 2026, weed.de's catalog of 2,150 medical cannabis products listed none made from Papaya.5
How these numbers were collected
- Source: Weedmaps’ public product listings, captured on Oct 4, 2026 for one city per state, counting stores and deliveries within 50 miles and in the same state.1
- A menu item counts when its name contains "Papaya" as a whole word and it is sold as flower. Crosses (an × or x beside the name, also after a cut tag such as #9 or F4) and pre-rolls are excluded, as is a long list of other strains whose names contain Papaya, from Papaya Punch, Papaya Cake and Banana Papaya to Papaya Strawberry, Papaya Explosion and Dulce de Papaya. Items named Papaya Kush count, because Weedmaps gives it as another name for Papaya.2
- What may remain: a few names of uncertain identity, such as Trophy Papaya, Pennington Papaya and Spiked Papaya (an infused flower), still count, so the store and item counts may slightly overstate plain Papaya.1
- Infused flower counts toward the store totals but is not priced. "Median eighth" uses only items sold as an eighth (3.5 g). Listed prices may or may not include tax, and deals are not applied.
- Only stores with a Weedmaps menu are counted, so a low count can reflect Weedmaps coverage rather than the market.

Names you will see on menus
Weedmaps gives Papaya Kush as another name for Papaya.2 Many other products with Papaya in the name are separate strains: in state lab records, the near-miss names our matching excluded were led by "Sour Papaya" and "Papaya Cake", and Papaya Punch, a Papaya × Purple Punch cross, is covered at papayapunch.com.3,4
